Meet Your Therapist:
Welcome. So a little about me: I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nedvada and I attended and graduated from Chaparral High school. I have worked in the medical field both for doctors and at local hospitals, in non-profit world, and I worked for the school district for a time as a substitute teacher. Married for over 30 years, I homeschooled two amazing people to adulthood, and continue to support the education and homeschooling community when I can. I also have two fur babies who sometimes attend sessions with me virtually.
A little about my education journey: In 2010 I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Human Service Management. In 2016 I graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Counseling specializing in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy. I worked as a student and licensed intern in both agency and private practice settings. After college, I created Embrace Counseling, LLC. My mission is helping adult individuals find their courage and strength to heal, grow, learn, and stop unhealthy generational traumas in the process.
Some of my training includes: EMDR, Women-Centered ADHD, Gottman Method, Parts and Memory therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, grief and LGBTQIA training, and somatic therapy training for trauma.
In my spare time, I journal, do CrossFit in my garage, and enjoy music and photography. I also enjoy travel, off-roading, and opportunities to connect with people in the community through volunteering.
