Welcome

I am glad you are here. I am glad you are looking into therapy. Asking for help is hard as it reminds us we are human and that we need others in our lives to get through hard things. It reminds us that we cannot do this life alone. Healthy connection is a vital part of healing. So welcome to the first step in your journey to a healthier you.

I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. Over my lifetime I have watched our city grow and change. My experiences and challenges in life have led me to have a better understanding of the people who call Las Vegas home, and I am aware of the need for confidential and safe mental health services to be available without judgment to everyone in our city and throughout our state. My passion is for helping hurting people, and with a focus on treating those struggling with grief, loss and trauma, my mission is to help people in our community reconnect with the strength and courage they have to heal.

It may be important for you to know, I am a fully licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Nevada. I have a Bachelor of Science in Human Services Management and a Master of Science in Counseling specializing in Marriage, Family, and Child therapy.

I have specific training in Crisis Management including Suicide Awareness and Prevention, Gottman Couples Therapy techniques, Emotionally Focused Therapy techniques, LGBTQ issues, and Parts Therapy as well as other training I maintain every year.

I am 2A community supportive, LGBTQ community supportive, Homeschooling supportive, and supportive of the Las Vegas entertainment industry. My employment background includes past work in the medical field, working in education, and volunteer work with homeless teens. I am a science nerd, love to journal, love being creative, practice photography, and am a lover of all music; however, Jazz, Blues, and Rock and Roll are my forever favorites. I am also married with children and have been married since 1994.

If you are struggling and are ready to start a confidential and safe journey towards healing with me as your therapist, then make an appointment with me by calling the number below or scheduling on line from the Appointments page. If I am not the right fit, then make an appointment with someone else in my field. There are no judgements.
